Saugerties, New York, USA – July 02, 2020 – The fourth week of the Great American Summer Series, presented by Alliant Private Client, featured the third $200,000 Grand Prix of the Series, sponsored by long-time Hits Partner Great American Insurance Group.

Mario Deslauriers (CAN) had been knocking on the door with 3 top-ten finishes so far this Series at Saugerties, and on Sunday, he and Amsterdam 27 were unbeatable.  Deslauriers went late in the jumpoff, and with only one rider clear so far, he knew a careful but efficient trip was needed to take the blue. He used the position to his advantage and laid down a beautiful ride trip aboard the 10-year-old Holsteiner gelding (Catoki x Acord II), crossing the jump-off timers in 38.708 seconds for the win.

Adrienne Sternlicht (USA) has been one of the most consistent riders in the circuit and that proved to be the case on Sunday too. The young American guided Just A Gamble (Toulon x Corofino) towards two penalty-free performances, the second one in 39.400 seconds.

Todd Minikus (USA) and Amex Z (Andiamo x Landaris Z) registered the fastest time among those who participated in the tiebreaker, but their time of 35.840 seconds came at the expense of four penalty-points, meaning that they had to settle for third place.
