Philipp Weishaupt & Coby Claim $225,000 Saudi Ministry of Sport Prize CSI 4* at the Diriyah Equestrian Festival

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The first week of the Diriyah Equestrian Festival came to an end on Sunday with Philipp Weishaupt (GER) and Coby 8 securing first place in the feature class of the day, $225,000 Saudi Ministry of Sport Prize CSI 4*, held at the at the state-of-the-art Al Duhami Farm in the nation’s capital.

Riding the 10-year-old bay Hanoverian gelding (Contagio x Escudo 19), the German was victorious in the 1.50m challenge after completing their tiebreaker performance in 34.82 seconds.

Abdullah Al Sharbatly (KSA) & Quilando

Abdullah Al Sharbatly (KSA) and Quilando (Quintender 2 x Landabel) gave the eventual winners a run for their money, earning silver honors only due to their final time of 35.39 seconds.

Daniel Deusser (GER) & Kiana van het Herdershof

Daniel Deusser (GER) had another brilliant performance, this time riding Kiana van het Herdershof (Toulon x Lys de Darmen) towards a double clear, securing bronze honors in 36.01 seconds.
