Bertram Allen’s GK Casper Sold to Darragh Kenny

Wellington, Florida, USA – December 10, 2020 – Bertram Allen (IRL) has released a statement announcing the sale of his top ride GK Casper (Canto 16 x Quantum) to fellow contryman Darragh Kenny (IRL), who is currently the eighth-ranked rider in the world.

The Irishman released the following statement:

We’re excited to announce that GK Casper has been sold to the Irish rider, Darragh Kenny (IRL). The 12-year-old gelding by Canto 16 has been a brilliant horse for Bertram over the last years. In 2019, the successful duo scored a sensational win in the $210,000 FEI World Cup Grand Prix CSI 4*-W in Toronto (CAN), in what was the gelding’s World Cup debut, followed by a brilliant win in the $73,000 Equinimity WEF Challenge Cup Round 4 CSI 4* at Wellington.

The successful duo, a brilliant partnership that has lasted for six years, can look back at many victories together over the past years such as their wins in Basel, Dublin, Doha, Eschweiler, Peelbergen and Vejer de la Frontera to mention a few.
Bertram Allen (IRL):
“I’m delighted to have sold GK Casper on to Darragh; he has been a brilliant horse for me over the last few years with many great results. I have some fond memories with him, and I hope Darragh will have great success with him.”
