Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – November 13, 2020 – One hundredth of a second! That’s what it took for Bryan Balsiger (SUI) and Twenty-two des Biches to steal the spotlight yesterday, winning the $95,100 Crédito Agrícola Grand Prix CSI 4* during the sixth week of the 2020 Vilamoura Champions Tour.

The 1.55m challenge featured 50 combinations including the likes of John Whitaker (GBR), Kevin Staut (FRA), Luciana Diniz (POR), Nicola Philippaerts (BEL), Shane Breen (IRL) and Gudrun Patteet (BEL), just to name a few.

The Swiss and the 2007 chestnut Selle Français mare (Mylord Carthago*HN x Kalor du Bocage) triumphed with a penalty-free jump-off effort in 39.36 seconds, nipping national superstar Luciana Diniz (POR) and Vertigo du Desert ( Mylord Carthago*HN x Robin II Z).

François Mathy Jr. (BEL) and Uno de La Roque (Numero Uno x Kannan) were also double clear, registering no penalties while stopping the timers in 39.73 seconds during the tiebreaker.
