
Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – November 01, 2020 – Shane Breen (IRL) and Z7 Ipswich put on another great performance today, closing out the fourth week of the 2020 Vilamoura Champions Tour with a victory in the €51,250 Microprocessador Grand Prix CSI 3*.
After winning the €34,300 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3* last Thursday, the Irishman teamed up with the 12-year-old chestnut Belgian Warmblood gelding (Carembar x Quick Star), registering the faster jump-off time of only two combinations that had a double clear when crossing the timers in 40.41 seconds.
Luciana Diniz (POR) and Conchetto PS (Conthargos x Chacco-Blue) were the only other combination that cleared all the 1.50m obstacles within the time allowed in the two performances, going through the jump-off timers in 41.25 seconds.
Michael Duffy (IRL) and Zilton SL Z (Zirocco Blue VDL x Indoctro) were the fastest ones among the six pairs that advanced to the decisive phase, earning the third spot on the podium in 38.60 seconds.
