Saint-Lô, France – October 25, 2020 – France continued to dominate the Meeting d’Automne – Jumping International de Saint-Lô CSI 4* & 2* on Saturday as Pénélope Leprévost, “France’s First Lady of Showjumping”, and Une Etoile Landaise claimed top honors in the €12,000 Prix Groupama Centre Manche Prize CSI 4*.
Léprévost guided the 12-year-old bay Selle Français mare (Balougran x Socrate de Chivre) flawless through the track and over all the 1.45m obstacles, registering 54.96 seconds for the victory.
Simon Delestre (FRA) and Qopilot Batilly Z (Qlassic Bois Margot x Cabdula du Tillard) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing second in 55.08 seconds.
The all-French podium was completed when Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Gravity of Greenhill (Nabab de Reve x Conterno-Grande) crossed the finish line in 55.19 seconds while registering a penalty-free effort.
