Valencia, Spain – October 25, 2020 – Richard Howley (IRL) was simply in a league of his own yesterday, claiming the top two places in €25,400 Grand Prix CSI 2* during the first week of the CES Valencia Autumn Tour.

Sixteen combinations out of the 39 startes advanced to the decisive phase, with seven of them registering a double clear. The Irishman rode to victory aboard El Wee Widge, an 11-year-old Anglo-European Sport Horse gelding ( Wheaweij de Landetta x Lester), timed in 34.44 seconds. He was second aboard Arlo de Blondel (Tlaloc M x Kassidi), going through the timers in 35.16 seconds.

Kara Chad (CAN) and Firefly W (Nabab de Reve x Voltaire) stopped the jump-off timers in 35.46 seconds for bronze honors.
