
Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – October 25, 2020 – The third week of the 2020 Vilamoura Champions Tour came to a close this Sunday with the grand finale, the €95,100 Ashford Farm Grand Prix CSI 4* at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.
A total of 50 combinations entered the ring to challenge Andrea Colombo‘s (ITA) 1.55m course, with seven of them advancing to the jump-off. In the end, it was Titouan Schumacher (FRA) and Atome Z who turned on the turbo while leaving all to poles up to claim the victory.

The Frenchman guided the Haras des Brimbelles‘ 12-year-old Zangersheide gelding (Amadeus Z*Brimbelles x Toulon) across the finish line in 39.22 seconds to earn top honors.
David Simpson (IRL) and Foudre F (Namelus R x Cavalier) dashed for first but had to settle for second, being timed in 39.98 seconds.
Francisco José Mesquita Musa (BRA) and Alea Império Egípcio (Mylord Carthago*HN x Allegreto) secured the third spot on the podium as the only other combination with a clean scorecard, breaking the beam of the jump-off timers in 41.57 seconds.
