Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – October 11, 2020 – Guy Williams (GBR) and Rouge de Ravel galloped towards another win during the Vilamoura Champions Tour at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre. The duo were the victors of the Grand Prix CSI 3*, the feature class of the the first week of competition at the cozy equestrian venue along the coast of the Mediterranean.
Great Britain claimed the trifecta with Williams and the 15-year-old bay Selle Français stallion (Ultimo Van Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge) leading the way after a penalty-free performance in 36.24 seconds.
A regular winner at the venue, Laura Renwick (GBR) and Dublin V (Vigaro x Calvados x Sable Rose) had to settle for second place, going through the final timers in 36.56 seconds.
The third spot on the podium was claimed by one of the young members of the most traditional name in the sport as Jack Whitaker (GBR) guided Valmy de la Lande (Mylord Carthago*HN x Starter) flawless across the finish line in 37.01 seconds.
