
Oliva Nova, Spain – September 02, 2020 – Louise Saywell (GBR) and Bacardi were the best on Thursday during the first week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s Autumn MET.
The Brit guided the 11-year-old bay gelding over all the obstacles, going clear in 59.76 seconds to win the 1.45m speed challenge.
Richard Vogel (GER) kept his streak of great results alive, adding a second place finish to his résumé after a penalty-free performance aboard Morton van’t Merelsnest (Nabab de Reve x Darco ), just seven hundredths of a second slower than the winners.
The third spot on the podium was claimed by another German as David Will (GER) and Primus vom Neumuehler Hof (Perigueux x Livello) combined for no penalties and a time of 60.89 seconds.
