Gorla Minore, Italy – After winning the €30,000 Grand Prix CSI 2* last Sunday, Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) was back on top of the podium yesterday at the Equieffe Equestrian Center. This time, he teamed up with Prinz 1293 to win the €25,500 Speed Class CSI 2*.
The German and the 12-year-old Hannoverian gelding (Perigueux x Escudo 19) left dust to 76 other combinations, not only clearing all the 1.45m obstacles and having no penalties, but also registering the fastest time of 57.04 seconds.

Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITA) & Elzas
Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITA) claimed second place for the host nation, guiding Elzas (Diamant de Semilly x Cornet Obolensky) towards a penalty-free performance in 58.47 seconds.

Francesco Corredu (ITA) & Necofix
Italy put a second rider on the podium as Francesco Correddu rode Necofix (Eco del Castegno x Avenir) across the finish line in 59.31 seconds without having any penalties attributed to them.
