Vejer de la Frontera, Spain – June 26, 2020 – Eduardo Álvarez Aznar (ESP) and Legend (Ogano x Nabab de Reve) took the top spot on the podium last Friday in the €25,400 Longines Ranking Speed Class, in the most intense day of competition so far in the third and final week at the Sunshine Tour.

Riding the 9-year-old chestnut Belgian Warmblood gelding (Ogano Sitte x Nabab de Reve), it was Edu’s second victory in this 1.45m class, after a win with Mogambo on Thursday of the second week of the Tour. They also took home an extra 1.000€ for being the highest placed Spanish rider, a subscribtion to the ClipMyHorse TV channel, which has just started up here in Spain. The duo completed the course flawlessly in 60.63 seconds for the victory.

Behind Edu and in second place was Kevin González de Zárate (ESP) aboard Conthargos Rouge (Conthargos x Papillon Rouge), registering a penalty-free effort in 62.38 seconds.

Ismael García Roque (ESP) and Airline R (Avec Coeur x Cornet Obolensky), a combination that has already won three classes here, including last Sunday’s Grand Prix, rounded out the top three after a clean run in 63.48 seconds.

Eduardo Álvarez Aznar y Legend (Ogano x Nabab de Reve) han sido los ganadores de la prueba ranking de hoy, sin duda la más concurrida de la jornada, que ha repartido un total de €25.400 en premios. Con ella, Edu suma su segunda victoria en una prueba de 1.45m tras la del jueves de la segunda semana con Mogambo y se llevan además un premio adicional de €1.000 al mejor jinete español aportado por ClipMyHorse TV, que celebran su llegada a España.

Tras ellos el segundo puesto es para Kevin González de Zárate (ESP) montando a Conthargos Rouge (Conthargos x Papillon Rouge) y tercero es Ismael García Roque (ESP) con Airline R (Avec Coeur x Cornet Obolensky), binomio ganador ya de 3 pruebas en lo que va de tour, entre ellas la prueba Ranking del domingo pasado.
