Grimaud, Saint Tropez, France – June 18, 2020 – Filippo Marco Bologni (ITA) and Quidich de La Chavee got things going in grand fashion today during the first day of the Hubside Jumping CSI 4*/2*/1* at Haras des Grillons in France.
The young Italian and the 16-year-old chestnut Selle Français stallion (President x Apache d’Adriers) were supreme in the €15,000 Speed Challenge, overcoming 40 other combinations by clearing all the 1.45m obstacles and stopping the timers in 61.64 seconds.
The host nation had one of its musketeers right on the heels of the eventual winners, since Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) and Ilex VP (Diamant de Semilly x Darco) finished second in 61.85 seconds.
Mark McAuley (IRL) and Miebello (Flyinge Quite Easy 958 x Cardento 933) completed the podium with no penalties and a tiem of 62.57 seconds.
