
Oliva Nova, Spain – March 13, 2020 – David Will (GER) and Caramba 92 were victorious in the €10,000 Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2* yesterday during the first week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s Spring MET III.
The German and the 9-year-old chestnut Westphalian gelding (Comme IL Faut 5 x Baloubet du Rouet) triumphed in the 1.45m speed challenge, registering no penalties in 72.09 seconds.
Clem McMahon (IRL) and Hilton Up the Banner (Je T’Aime Flamenco x Gerard Kelly) earned silver honors as the only other combination that had a clean scorecard, crossing the finish line in 77.75 seconds.
Thomas Ryan (IRL) and Li Torimo (Tornesch 1042 x Irco Mena) completed the podium after registering one time-penalty in 80.60 seconds.
