Barcelona, Spain – December 08, 2019 – Kevin González de Zarate Fernandez (ESP) and Atlantic Z won the €25,345 Grand Prix CSI 2* last Sunday during the Barcelona Christmas Tour CSI 2* at the Real Club de Polo of Barcelona in Spain.

The Spaniard and the 12-year-old Zangersheide gelding (Air Jordan Z x Voltaire) were supreme in the 1.45m challenge, securing the victory after a penalty-free performance in 39.64 seconds.

Second place was claimed by Arnaud Fontenelle (FRA) and Articule de Bellevue (Controe*HN x Dino de Dampierre), the only other combination that registered a double clear, stopping the final timers in 40.49 seconds.

Mariano Martinez Bastida (ESP) and Giro de La Luna (Van Gogh x Cassini I) completed the podium as the only other combination that advanced to the jump-off, registering four penalty-points in 42.66 seconds at the end of their second effort.
