Paris, France – November 27, 2019 – Alexis Deroubaix (FRA) has announced the sale of his top ride Timon d’Aure. The Frenchman and the 12-year-old Selle Français gelding (Mylord Carthago*HN x Fragrance de Chalus) have had a successful partnership over the past four years, highlighted by 16 FEI-level wins in 180 starts, the most important ones being the €500,000 Rolex Grand Prix of Dinard CSI 5* last August, the €92,100 Caixa Bank Grand Prix CSI 4* at Casas Novas, La Coruña, and the Grand Prix of Bourg-en-Bresse CSI 4*, both in 2018.
The pair have had other important victories this year, including two at the Hubside Jumping tour this year, winning the €25,000 Jump-off Class CSI 4* at Hubside Jumpingand €26,000 Speed Class CSI 4* at Hubside Jumping Spring Tour.
Moreover, the duo finished in 9th place at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon defending France and in 13th place in the individual competition at the 2019 FEI Jumping European Championships in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
The new owner of the horse hasn’t been informed yet but rumors are that he was sold to one of the most famous stables in the world, one from the Netherlands.
