
Liège, Belgium – November 02, 2019 – Constant van Paesschen (BEL) and Vendetta Treize won the €30,450 Prix de La Ville de Liège CSI 4* yesterday during the Jumping International de Liège CSI 4* in Belgium.
The Belgian and the 10-year-old black Selle Français stallion (Diamant de Semilly x Eiger I) were supreme in the 1.50m speed challenge, leaving all the poles up for no penalties and crossing the finish line in 62.84 seconds for the victory.
It was a one-two for Belgium as Christophe Vanderhasselt (BEL) and Cana van de Blom earned silver honors after a clean run in 64.04 seconds.
Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) and Twenty-Clary (Calvaro F.C. x Muguet du Manoir) completed the podium only two hudrendths of a second slower than the latter two.
