Canteleu, France – September 29, 2019 – Angelica Augstsson Zanotelli (SWE) and Kalinka van de Nachtegaele won the €50,500 Pôle Equestre Rouen Normandie Grand Prix CSI 3* on Sunday during the Happy Jumping International CSI 3* in Canteleu, France.
The Swede and the 9-year-old chestnut Belgian Warmblood mare (Epleaser van’t Heike x Cicero Z) claimed top honors in the contest by leaving all the 1.50m obstacles up and having no penalties attributed to them, crossing the finish line in 42.63 seconds.
Vanessa Martinez (FRA) and Torero du Lozon (Mylord Carthago*HN x Verdi) were the only other combination with a double clear, earning silver honors in 45.58 seconds.
Thomas Lambert (FRA) and Univers de Ch’Ti (L’Arc de Triomphe x Lotus) registered the fastest time among all the five finalists, rounding out the top three with four penalty-points in 42.16 seconds during the tiebreaker.
