
Ratières, France – August 29, 2019 – Patrice Delaveau (FRA) and Bugs Bunny d’Authuit HDC won the €10,000 Mercedes-Benz France Prize CSI 4* yesterday during the Jumping International de Valence CSI 3*/2* at the Haras des Grillons in Ratières, France.
The Frenchman and the 8-year-old bay Selle Français gelding (Quick Star x Quaprice Boimargot Quincy) advanced to and completed the second part of the 1.45m challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, earning top honors in 30.17 seconds.
Benoit Cernin (FRA) and Uitlanders du Ter (Clinton x Hurlevent) matched the winners’ clean performance right to the finish line, securing second place just three-hundredths of a second behind.
Megane Moissonnier (FRA) and Varsovie du Thot (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Flipper d’Elle) completed the all-French podium with no penalties and a time of 30.74 seconds in phase two.
