Charlotte Bettendorf & Raia d’Helby Shine in €120,000 Beresa Stars Prize – Grand Prix of Munter CSI 4*

2019. Munster CSI 4 GP Charlotte Bettendorf & Raia d'Helby SLF

Münster, Germany – August 04, 2019 – Charlotte Bettendorf (LUX) and Raia d’Helby won the €120,000 Beresa Stars Prize – the Grand Prix of Münster CSI 4*, the fourth stage of the Bemer Riders Tour in Münster, Germany.

It was successful weekend since the winner had already won the big tour on Friday, allowing her to enter the 14-year-old Selle Français mare (Fergar Mail x Papillon Rouge) in the Grand Prix of the city of Münster CSI 4* for the points hunt after a one-day break.

The Luxembourger radiated happiness all around, after all, she had to shiver a little if she could move into the second round after a mistake in the round of the special stage. Thanks to the fast time succeeded the combination.

The duo were supreme in the 1.60m contest over two rounds, securing the victory by registering no penalties and stopping the final timers in 33.93 seconds in the second round.

“Now I’m planning the calendar,” said Bettendorf, “that was the first Riders Tour stage of my life and I would like to go to Paderborn.”

It was an all-female podium since the 30-year-old Luxembourgeoise was joined by Angelica Augustsson-Zanotelli (SWE) and Nintender Star (Nintender x Star Kingdom), the latter duo finishing second after a clean scorecard and a time of 34.42 seconds in round 2.

Angelica Augustsson-Zanotelli was visibly proud of her horse, whom she has been riding since the age of six. The look of the mother of two now also goes towards Paderborn. There is the fifth stage of the BEMER Riders Tour.

Simone Blum (GER) and DSP Alice (Askari x Landrebell) completed the podium with no penalties, stopping the timers in 34.99 seconds at the end of their second run.

For Simone Blum the event in Munster was useful in two ways: first with DSP Alice, the test there showed Blum that her mare is in form before the European Championships in Rotterdam.

“For Cool Hill this was a station where he proved what he was capable of,” said the Bavarian about the nine-year-old Cool Hill.

Bernhard Bock, Head of Marketing at BEMER Int. AG: “Of course it’s great that I can sit here next to Simone, but in general I find it impressive how all three riders presented themselves here.”
