Hickstead, England – July 27, 2019 – Ellen Whitaker (GBR) and Diola won the €25,000 Bemer Speed Classic CSI 5* last Saturday during the Longines Royal International Horse Show CSIO 5* at the All England Jumping Course – Hickstead in England.

The Brit and the 10-year-old bay mare (Locarno 62 x Believe Me) triumphed in the 1.50m challenge by clearing all the obstacles for no penalties and stopping the timers in 59.80 seconds.

Marcus Ehning (GER) and Mill Creek Filippa (For Contest x Dynast) were the runners-up, posting a clean performance in 60.04 seconds.

David Will (GER) and Forest Gump 29 (Forsyth x Feuerwerk) registered the fastest time among all the competitors, but their time came at the expense of one rail down, meaning that their final time would be 60.47 seconds.
