Guy Williams & Rouge de Ravel Ride to Victory in €93,500 CaixaBank Grand Prix CSI 4* at Casas Novas

Guy Williams (GBR) and Rouge de Ravel won the €93,500 CaixaBank Grand Prix CSI 4* yesterday during A Coruña – CSI Casas Novas 4*/2* at the Casas Novas Equestrian Center in Casas Novas, Spain.

The Brit and the 14-year-old bay Selle Français (Ultimo va Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge) had already won the €25,000 Eurostars Trophy CSI 4* last Friday, topping the feature class of the event, a 1.60m over two rounds. Williams and the stallion registered two penalty-free performances, securing the victory in 43.35 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Alexandra Paillot (FRA) and Polias de Blondel (Desir du Chateau x Souviens Toi III) matched the winner’s double clear, finishing second due to their time of 44.05 seconds in the second round.

Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Alibi de la Roque (Mylord Carthago * HN x Kannan * GFE) earned bronze honors with no penalties, going through the final timers in 44.60 seconds.
