Stockholm, Sweden – June 15, 2019 – Nayel Nassar (EGY) and Lucifer won the €95,000 Volkswagen Stockholm Prize CSI 5*, the second GCL individual speed class last Saturday during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Stockholm CSI 5* in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Egyptian and the 13-year-old bay Westphalian gelding (Lord Dezi x Grandeur) claimed top honors by overcoming all the 1.55m/1.60m obstacles without having any penalties attributed to them, crossing the finish line in 67.53 seconds.

Second place was claimed by Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) and Toveks Mary Lou (Montendro x Portland L), finishing just nineteen-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.

Marlon Módolo Zanotelli (BRA) and VDL Edgar M (Arezzo VDL x Marlon) completed the top three with no penalties and a time of 68.45 seconds.
