
Chengdu, China – May 26, 2019 – Kenneth Cheng (HKG) and Fancyface won the CNY $267,000 Longines Grand Prix CSI 2*-W last Sunday during the second leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ – China League in Chengdu, China.
The Hong Kongese and the 14-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood mare (Winningmood x A Lucky One) claimed the victory by being the only combination to clear all the obstacles in the jump-off, stopping the timers in 44.31 seconds.
Abai Nulahemaiti (CHN) and Gulio van de Koelaar (Nonstop x Major de La Cour) registered four penalty-points and a jump-off time of 40.86 seconds for silver honors.
Galatu Jiri (CHN) and Chalano Gold (Chacco-Blue x Landgold) finished third despite having two rails down in the decisive phase, going through the final timers in 44.08 seconds.
