Madrid, Spain – May 16, 2019 – Ludger Beerbaum (GER) and Cool Feeling won the €50,200 Caixa Bank Trophy CSI 5* last Friday during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid CSI 5* at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in Madrid, Spain.

The German and the 11-year-old bay gelding (Cornado NRW x Lancer II) were supreme in the 1.50m/1.55m challenge by completing the course without having any penalties attributed to them and crossing the finish line in 71.74 seconds.

Scott Brash (GBR) & Hello Shelby
Scott Brash (GBR) and Hello Shelby (Stolzenberg x For Pleasure) finished second, registering no penalties in 73.31 seconds.

Spencer Smith (USA) & Theodore Manciais
Spencer Smith (USA) and Theodore Manciais (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Power Light) earned bronze honors, backed by a penalty-free performance in 75.05 seconds.
