Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain – March 15, 2019 – Michael Hughes (USA) and Jackson van den Bisschop won the €25,100 Emiralia Horse Corporation Prize CSI 2* today during the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour‘s Spring MET III.

The American rider and Ashford Farm’s 10-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding (Flipper d’Elle x Nabab de Reve) advanced to and completed the second phase of the 1.45m challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, stopping the final timers in 38.87 seconds for the victory.

Justine Tebbel (GER) and Hello Guv’Nor (Diamant de Semilly x Papillon Rouge) were hot on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing only one-tenth of a second behind.

Remco Been (NED) and Holland van den Bisschop (Heartbreaker x Achill/Libero H) also registered a clean scorecard right to the end, being timed only three-tenths of a secod slower than the latter two.
