The Italian and the 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding (Argentinus – Amie van de Noordheuvel) triumphed in the 1.50m challenge by being the faster of only two combinations that managed a double clear, securing the victory in 40.47 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Felicie Bertrand (FRA) and Ilena de Mariposa (Berlin x For Pleasure) was the only other combination that matched the winners’ clean scorecard, earning silver honors in 42.23 seconds.
Raphael Goehrs (FRA) and Victorio des Frotards (Barbarian x Prince Ig’Or) registered the fastest time among the only three pairings that had qualified for the jump-off, but their time of 36.33 seconds came at the expense of four penalty-points, meaning that they would have to settle for third place.
