
McLain Ward (USA) and Tradition de la Roque won the $72,000 CaptiveOne Advisors 1.50m Classic CSI 5* last Sunday during the seventh week of the 2019 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, Florida, USA.
The American and the 12-year-old Selle Français mare (Kannan x Oberon du Moulin) were supreme in the jump-off, securing the victory backed by a penalty-free performance in 37.557 seconds.
Lorenzo de Luca (ITA) and Evita van’t Zoggehof (Golden Hawk x Rubens du Ri d’Asse) were close behind, finishing second with no penalties and a final time of 37.813 seconds.
Carlos Hank Guerreiro (MEX) and H5 Jemousin van den Dael (Vivaldi du Seingneur x Lipton) completed the podium posting two flawless runs, the second one in 41.073 seconds.
