
Marlon Módolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Errol won the €26,200 Melisa Internationales Reitzentrum Prize CSI 2* yesterday during the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s 2019 Spring MET II in Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain.
The Brazilian and the 9-year-old chestnut gelding (Luidam x Le Tot de Semilly) triumphed by advancing to and completing the second part of the 1.45m two-phase challenge flawlessly in 27.69 seconds.
Giampiero Garofalo (ITA) and Festinov (Ustinov x Hors La Loi II) claimed silver honors, matching the winners’ clean performance all the way to the finishing line, yet doing so in 28.37 seconds.
Michael Hughes (USA) and Jackson vd Bisschop (Flipper d’Elle x Nabab de Reve) secured third place after stopping the final timers in 29.08 seconds without having any penalties attributed to them.
