Tobias Meyer (GER) and Samurai won the €25,480 Grand Prix of Brandeburg and Hengstation Maas J. Hell CSI 2* yesterday during the Neustadt-Dosse CSI 2* in Germany.
The German and the 11-year-old bay Westphalian stallion (Stalypso x For Keeps) were lightning fast but still clean in the jump-off, blazing across the finish line in 32.81 seconds for the victory.
Marco Kutscher (GER) and Charco (Chin Quin x Darco) were the closest ones, earning silver honors a bit further back with a time of 34.79 seconds.
Hans-Peter Konle (GER) and Quick Stepp 4 (Quidam x Couleur-Rubin) completed the “trifecta” for the home nation, registering no penalties and a time of 35.31 seconds during the tiebreaker.
