Jordan fared well in the final class of the day, claiming victory in the €25,000 Mother of The Nation Presents International Qualifier CSI 4* during the Al Shira’aa International Horse Show CSI 4* at Al Foran Equestrian Club in Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates.

Ibrahim Hani Bisharat (JOR) and King of Diamonds were the first to go and set a standard that the rest of nine-strong jump off field failed to beat, having no penalties and a time jump-off time of 36.40 seconds.

Paolo Paini (ITA) and Ottava Meraviglia di Ca’San G ( For Pleasure x Caletto I) finished second, completing their second clean performance in 37.27 seconds.

Anna Kellnerova (CZE) and Silverstone G (Diamant de Semilly x Vancouver) once again put another solid performance, rounding out the top three with no penalties in 37.69 seconds during the tiebreaker.

A minimum of 22 riders from the starting field of 36 have qualified to go through to the Longines Al Shira’aa Grand Prix on Saturday.

“It was a very difficult course and I am very happy to win,” he said. “This is quite a young horse so it was actually a benefit for us to go in early and put pressure on the rest of the field with our time.”
