Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum (GER) & Calle 67 won the €36,300 VDL Groep Prize CSI 4* last Friday during the Jumping Indoor Maastricht CSI 4* in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

Fourteen combinations had qualified for the jump-off but the American-born equestrian who rides for Germany overcame all the others by clearing all the 1.50m obstacles for the second time, guiding her very own 9-year-old bay Westphalian gelding (Carell x Capitalist) across the finish line in 33.31 seconds.

Bertram Allen (IRL) and Gin Chin van het Lindenhof (Chin Chin x Calido I) secured the second spot on the podium backed by a penalty-free jump-off performance in 33.86 seconds.

Harrie Smolders (NED) and Zinius (Nabab de Reve x Kannan) rounded out the top three, being timed only five-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two at the end of the their run in the tiebreaker.
