Antonio Alfonso (ITA) and Redskin de Riverland won the €27,650 Grand Prix CSI 3* last Sunday during the Vilamoura Champions Tour in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.
The Italian and the 13-year-old Selle Français stallion (Allegreto x Muguet du Manoir) earned top honors by overcoming all the 1.50m maximum-height obstacles on the course, crossing the finish line with no penalties in 37.13 seconds.
Johnny Pals (NED) and Fernando (For Pleasure x Corrado I) earned silver honors with no penalties and a time of 37.50 seconds.
Marc Bettinger (GER) and Balouzino (Baloubet du Rouet x Zeus Ang.n) rounded out the top three backed by a flawless performance in 37.50 seconds.
