
The Classic Grand Prix was the main competition yesterday during the 83rd Anniversary of the Clube Hípico de Santo Amaro (CHSA) in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.
The event went on into the night as 61 combinations faced the course set up by Anderson Lima (BRA), with thirteen of them qualifying for the jump-off.]Top honors was claimed by a national Olympic rider who represented the home nation during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Stephan Barcha (BRA) rode O Mundo do Cavalo Zilverstone Chevaux to victory by having no penalties attributed to them, moreover, completing the course with the fastest time of 31.13 seconds.

Vitor Alves Teixeira (BRA) & Hilde Império Egípcio
Pan-American and also Olympic medalist, Vitor Alves Teixeira (BRA) guided Hilde Império Egípcio to second place after posting their second penalty-free effort, going through the timers in 32.65 seconds.

Thiago Mattos (BRA) & Amor do Santo Antônio
Thiago Mattos (BRA) & Amor do Santo Antônio rounded out the top three backed a clean scoresheet, registering 32.65 seconds at the end of their second run to secure bronze honors.
