The title sponsors of Friday’s €24,700 Top Series 1.45m CSI 3* class took home the win as Azerbaijan’s Patrick Mc Entee rode De Buyl Insurance’s April Mury Marais Z (Air Jordan Z x Quinar Z) to victory in this competition presented by Catherine De Buyl.

A 1.50m accumulator with two jokers counting for the world ranking, the class had 43 riders lined up and as first to go Germany’s Katharina Offel posted a quick round on the 9-year-old mare Elien (Carambole x Mermus R) with a time of 52.53 seconds and a full score of 65 points.

It was not until rider number eighteen in the ring that Offel was overtaken, by home hero Jerome Guery (BEL) on Hercules By Immofluisteraar (Larino x President) who posted a time of 51.10 seconds – also with a full score.

Ten riders later however, Patrick Mc Entee entered the ring to snatch the win with a blistering fast time of 50.76 seconds – pushing Guery down to second and Offel to third.
