Alexandre Faustino (POR) & Benhur de Salinas won the €24,700 Grand Prix CSI 2* last Sunday to conclude the Vilamoura By Summer Series at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.

The Portuguese and the 11-year-old black stallion (Escudo I x Imago Mail) were victorious in the 1.45m contest after completing their jump-off effort with no penalties in 35.14 seconds.

Ignacio Astolfi Lopez (ESP) & Dillan M (Zurich – Zirena M) also registered two flawless performances, finishing second due to their time of 36.89 seconds.

Antônio Matos Almeida (POR) & Nikel de Presle (Kannan x Fennec) earned bronze honors backed by a clean scorecard, only a half of a second slower than the latter two.
