Richard Fellers (USA) & Steelbi claimed top honors in the Friends of the Meadows Cup CSI 5* last Thursday during ‘The North American’ at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The American and the 10-year-old Swedish Warmblood mare (VDL Empire x Stanford) soared over all the 1.45m obstacles on the course, registering no penalties and a time of 42.770 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Erynn Ballard (CAN) & J’Adore van het Klinkhof (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Alcatraz) earned the second spot on the podium after completing their second fault-free effort in 44.690 seconds.

Karrie Rufer (USA) & Mai Tai 2 (Ustinov x Lissabon) earned bronze honors backed by a penalty-free performance in 45.170 seconds.
