
Eric Lamaze (CAN) & Chesney won the $35,500 1.45m ATCO Cup CSI 5* last Thursday during the ‘North American’ tournament at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The Canadian and the 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Indoctro x Kannan) triumphed in the 1.45m class by posting the fastest penalty-free jump-off performance, stopping the timers in 39.510 seconds.
Second place was claimed by Mario Deslauriers (CAN) & Jamaica van Paemel (Cicero x Fortuna van Paemel), completing their second flawless effort in 40.800 seconds.
Hannah Heidegger (USA) & Di Caprio RV (Verdi x Amethist) secured the third spot on the podium with no penalties, going through the finish line in 41.190 seconds during the tiebreaker.
