Eduardo Menezes (BRA) & Caruschka won the Encana Cup CSI 5* last Friday during ‘The National’ at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Canada.

The Brazilian and the 14-year-old Oldenburg mare (Caspar x Continue) took the lead for good in the jump-off by leaving all the poles up throughout the 1.45m challenge, registering no penalties and crossing the finish line in 45.020 seconds for the victory.

Nicolas Pizarro (MEX) & Charatinus (Chacco Blue x Grannus) were close behind, finishing only fourteen-hundredths of a second slower than the eventual winners.

Salvador Oñate (MEX) & Big Red (Ludwig von B x La Moureux I) rounded out the top three with no penalties and a jump-off time of 45.420 seconds.
