
Abai Nulahemaiti (CHN) & Gulio van De Koelaar won the CNY $267,000 Longines Grand Prix CSI 2* during the second leg of the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping China League last Sunday in Chengdu, China.
The Chinese and the 12-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Nonstop x Major de La Cour) were the fastest of the only three combinations that registered a double clear, securing the victory backed by a penalty-free jump-off performance in 37.87 seconds.
Tongyan Liu (CHN) & Ku Bu Qi matched the winners’ clean scoresheet over the two rounds, claiming second place with a time of 38.35 seconds during the decisive phase.
Jolien Maenhaut (BEL) & Pommeau du Heup (Helios de la Cour II x Thurin) rounded out the top three with no penalties, going through the timers six-tenths of a second slower than the latter two during the decisive phase.
