Morgan Kent (GBR) & Drumconnick won the £22,400 Bottle Green & Horse Sport Ireland International Grand Prix CSI 2* last Friday during the Balmoral Show CSI 2* in Sprucefield, Northern Ireland.
The Brit and the 9-year-old bay Irish Sport Horse Stallion (Verdi x Abdeltje) triumped by leaving all the poles up for the second time and completing the 1.45m/1.50m jump-off challenge in 49.13 seconds.
Captain Geoff Curran (IRL) & Hallowberry Cruz (Cruising x Clover Hill) also registered two penalty-free performances, the second one in 50.21 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Rebecca McGoldrick (CAN) & Fleur IV (Chatman x Marco Mara) were the only other combination with a clean scoresheet, securing third place after going through the timers in 52.36 seconds.
