Leopold van Asten (NED) & VDL Groep Beauty won the €25,450 Van Mossel Automotive Group Prize CSI 3* yesterday during the CSI Eindhoven 3* the Netherlands.
The Dutchman and the 12-year-old grey Dutch Warmblood mare (For Pleasure x Contender) triumphed in the 1.50m class by leaving all the poles up for no penalties throughout their two performances, completing the jump-off in 43.03 seconds.
Dutch rising star Lisa Nooren (NED) & Dienellie (Berlin x Lupicor) matched her fellow countryman’s double clear, securing silver honors in 44.38 seconds.
To the delight of the home crowd, Lars Kesten (NED) & Dobbey (Zirocco Blue VDL x Grosso Z) completed the all-Dutch podium, finishing third after posting their second penalty-free effort in 45.29 seconds.
