Philipp Weishaupt (GER) & Asathir were victorious in the €150,000 Longines Grand Prix yesterday during the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Slovakia at the X-Bionic Equestor Sphere in Samorin, Slovakia.
The German and the 11-year-old Selle-Français mare (Diamant de Semilly x Papillong Rouge) were both very consistent over the two-round + jump-off challenge, registering three fault-free performances, crossing the finish line in 40.33 seconds during tiebreaker.
Luiz Francisco de Azevedo (BRA) & Comic (Verdi TN x Heartbreaker) were the runners-up, the only difference being their final time of 40.87 seconds.
Abdel Said (EGY) & Callisto (Quasimodo Z x Jokinal de Bornival) earned bronze honors with no penalties and a time of 41.74 seconds.
