Harrie Smolders had a fantastic season last year being crowned both champion of the Longines Global Champions Tour and Global Champions League.
Another major achievement by the Dutchman is that his results aboard Zinius have propelled the 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Nabab de Reve x Kannan) to the top of the latest WBFSH Rolex World Ranking List for breeders of jumping horses.
The gelding has recorded seven wins, 10 second-place finishes and five bronze honors over the past 12 months, deeds that have also skyrocketed him in the FEI Ranking all the way up to number eleven.
