Hugo Tavares (POR) & Phebus du Fief the winners of the €24,950 1.45m Longines Ranking Class, sponsored by Microprocessador yesterday during the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour at the Francisco Moura Arena in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.
The Portuguese and the 15-year-old chestnut Selle Français gelding (Echo des Forets II x Prince Ig’OR) took the lead for good in the two-phase challenge when they crossed the finish line with no penalties and in 29.96 seconds.
Morgan Bordat (FRA) & Uma (Calvaro x Veneur d’Etenclin) matched the winners’ fault-free performance, stopping the timers in 30.04 seconds.
Mario Wilson Fernandes (POR) & Tidelio des Nauves (Fidelio du Thot x Socrate de Chivre) claimed the third spot on the podium with a penalty-free performance, going through the final timers in 30.60 seconds.
