Michael Hughes (USA) & Zerlin M won the €25,300 Gold 4 speed class CSI 3* yesterday during Spring MET III at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva Nova, Spain.

The American and the 14-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood stallion (Caspar x Concorde) registered their third Longines Ranking class galloped towards victory after crossing the finish line with no penalties in 64.41 seconds.

Lance Whitehouse (GBR) & Miss Belvedere (Ashby x Mity Wind) finished second, matching the winners’ fault-free performance in 66.75 seconds.

Jörg Oppermann (GER) & Che Guevara 17 (Concept 2 x Rebel Z) earned bronze honors by having no faults and a time of 67.12 seconds.
