Simon Delestre (FRA) & Hermès Ryan des Hayettes won the €400,000 Grand Prix Hermès yesterday during the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais in Paris, France.
The Frenchman and the 13-year-old Selle Français gelding (Hugo Gesmeray x Ryon D’Anzex) were simply brilliant once again, besting thirteen other combinations by going clear and fast, stopping the timers in 34.54 seconds.
After winning the Rolex €800,000 Grand Prix CSI 5* last week, Niels Bruynseels (BEL) & Gancia de Muze (Malito de Reve x Nimmerdor) had another great result. In fact, the Belgian and the 12-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood mare were close, finishing second with a jump-off time of 34.97 seconds.
Marcus Ehning (GER) & Cornado NRW (Cornet Obolensky x Acobat) completed the podium backed by two penalty-free performances, the decisive one in 35.72 seconds.
