Jérôme Hurel (FRA) & As De Mai won the €25,300 1.45m Longines Ranking Class CSI 3* last week during the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.

The Frenchman and the 8-year-old chestnut Selle Français gelding (Apache d’Adriers x Kannan) were victorious by clearing all the poles throughout their two outings, registering no penalties during the jump-off and a time of 33.44 seconds.

Reynald Angot (FRA) & Symphonie des Biches (SF – Kannan x Damiro B) finished second after matching the winners’ two fault-free performances, only four-tenths of a second slower.

Morgan Bordat (FRA) & Star de La Beviere (SF – Jazz Band Courcelle x Narcos II) completed the French “trifecta” with no penalties, stopping the timers in 34.29 seconds during the tiebreaker.
