
Julien Epaillard (FRA) & Safari D’Auge won Sunday’s €30,450 Grand Prix CSI 2*, presented by Stephex during the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 2* in Oliva Nova, Spain. The “Flying” Frenchman and the 11-year-old bay Selle Français stallion (Diamant de Semilly – Marquise Du Grimeux) were victorious in the 1.45 contest by posting two fault-free performances, the decisive one in 36.40 seconds.
Lorenzo de Luca (ITA) & de Flipper (Flipper d’Elle x Emilion) were also double clear, finishing second due to their jump-off time of 38.33 seconds.
Thierry Rozier (FRA) & Venezia d’Ecaussinnes (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Lys de Darmen) earned the third spot on the podium with their second flawless run, timed in 38.45 seconds.
