The flying Frenchman and the 10-year-old chestnut Stud-Book Selle Français mare (Kannan x Nabab de Reve) were fast as usual, registering 36.91 seconds and no faults for the triumph during the jump-off.

Scott Brash @ Scott Brash (GBR) & Ursulla XII (Ahorn x Papageno) came close to fulfilling the dream of the home crowd, finishing second with no penalties and a time of 37.34 seconds during the tiebreaker.
